of the ass.

Eid Mubarak!!!

Allah's Love...

I had a talk with Allah S.W.T.

As I pondered my life's journey.
"Dear Allah," I said, "I have no fear.
If I should die tonight,
I know my soul is saved
For I have seen the light.

The blessings you've given were many.
Some decisions I've made were poor.
Still, you looked upon me with love--
Nothing less nothing more."

Allah asked, "What more is there than My love?"
I said, "Nothing that I know."
Allah said, "For my love is eternal."
I agreed, "True, no greater love I've known.

"You've always walked beside me."
Allah interjected, "Yes, just as a true friend should
I continued, "And when I grew weak and tired,
You let me lean on you?"

"My child," Allah said,
"I've sent more things your way
Than you could ever want or need,
And in return I ask just this:
Live your life for me!

"For it's not the roads you travel
That lead you to my door;
It's the souls that you'll bring with you
That I put you on this earth for.

"Take nothing I've given for granted
For nothing's yours to keep.
I only let you borrow them
Until you come home to live with me!"

May Allah Bless You
And Eid Mubarak!

Sunrise from the West... The prophecy is to be fulfilled soon

NASA - Sunrise from the West
The science of astronomy states that the speed of planet Mars has been
decreasing in its course toward the eastern direction in the few past weeks to the level that we notice the "waver" between the east and the west On Wednesday the 30th of July, the planet movement stopped going toward the eastern direction. From August till the end of September, Mars changed its course in the opposite direction to the West- which means the sun will rise now from the west on Mars!!
This weird phenomena of the opposite movement is called "Retrograde Motion." Most scientists state that all the planets will go through the same phenomena at least once and Earth is one of them. Earth will move in the opposite direction some day, which will make the sun rise from the west! This might occur soon and we are unaware!
The rise of the sun from the west is mentioned in the hadith and this is the major sign of the day of judgment. Most, if not all, the minor signs of judgment have already occurred. Wake up! Our beloved messenger Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said: "One of the signs of the hour, will be that the sun will rise from the west, where no longer tauba (forgiveness) will be granted." Another strange thing, most of our Shariah scholars mention that the rise of the sun from the west will occur only once on that day, then will continue from the east or as Allah wishes. This is similar to what is happening to Mars-it stops, then it changes its course of direction for a short period of time, then returns to way once it was.
Abdullah Bin Amro (R.A.) said: "I memorized from the messenger (SAW) a hadith I will never forget. I heard the messenger of Allah (SAW) say, "The first ayah to come the rise of the sun from the west) [Ahmad]. The messenger SAW said, "Allah (SWT) places His hand at night to forgive his morning sinners, and places it in the morning to forgive his night sinners until the sun rises from the west" [Muslim].
This piece of news is very important as it brings with it a great sign of warning and remembrance of the coming of a new WORLD - the world of the Hereafter. When we see this hadith that was told 1400 years ago about this miracle, Inshallah a lot will rivert to right path. Any Muslims learning of this phenomena happening in Mars might Inshallah be brought closer to our creator as well. May Allah (swt) keep all of us in the Right path and provide us with success in this world as well as in the hereafter.

Dua For Distress and Grief (Taken from USC-MSA website)

This is based on the following saheeh hadeeth reported by Imaam Ahmad (translation adapted from; see question 1392):
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘There is nobody who is afflicted with distress or grief and who says:
“Allaahumma inni ‘abduka wa ibn ‘abdika wa ibn amatika, naasiyati bi yadika
maadin fiyya hukmuka ‘adlun fiyya qadaa’uka, as’aluka bi kulli ismin huwa laka
sammayta bihi nafsaka aw ‘allamtahu ahadan min khalqika aw anzaltahu fi
kitaabika aw asta’tharta bihi fi ‘ilmi al-ghaybi ‘indaka an taj’al al-Qur’aana
rabee’a qalbi wa noor sadri wa jilaa’a huzni wa dhihaaba hammi.’

‘O Allaah, I am Your slave, son of Your slave, son of Your maidservant, my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is ever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You have named Yourself with, or which you revealed in Your Book, or which You taught to any of Your creation, or which You have preserved in the knowledge of the Unseen with You, that You make the Qur’aan the life of my heart and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety,” - but Allaah will take away his distress and grief, and replace it with ease.’ He was asked, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, should we not learn it?’ He said, ‘Of course, whoever hears it should learn it.’

786" - Does it stand for 'Bismillahi Rahmaani Raheem

"786" - Does it stand for 'Bismillahi Rahmaani Raheem'?
786 is the numerical representation of "Bismillahirrahamaanirraheem" has no religious or Islamic significance. The numerals 786 or any other numerals in no way represent 'Bismillaah al-Rahmaan al-Raheem' or other Surahs of the noble Qur'ân and is not the Sunnah either. CAN NUMBER 786 REPLACE THE HOLY NAME OF GOD? Allaah say in Qur'ân "Verily, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'ân in order that you may understand" (Surah Yousuf 12:2). We are instructed to recite the Qur'an Majeed, as can be seen from the following verses: "And (it is) a Qur'ân which We have divided (into parts), in order that you might recite it to men at intervals. And We have revealed it by stages. (in 23 years)." (Surah Bani Israil 17:106); "....So RECITE as much of the Qur'ân as may be easy (for you),..." (Surah Muzammil 73:20). Now would one recite the Qur'an if it is reduced to numbers? As an example, we shall reduce the Surah Fatihah to numerical figures for the benefit of the reader.
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem............................................... 786
Al-humdolillaahir rubbuaalamin............................................... 632
Ar-Rahmaan-ur-Raheem....................................................... 618
Malikay yawm-midhdeen...................................................... 242
Eeyya ka Na' bo-du Wa eeyya ka nastha'een........................... 836
Ah'daynas-sira thalmustaqeem...........and in NO WAY sacred. It is a conspiracy against the Holy Book of Allaah
This old game of numbers was practised by the ancient Egyptians, as did many other civilisations. Islaam came to ELIMINATE ALL such superstitions, mysteries and numerological mumbo-jumbo. However, Muslims are still enslaved to the number game, and think that 786 represent BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM.
The innovation of writing '786' replacing 'Bismillaah al-Rahmaan al-Raheem' has been adopted for a long time and the majority of the Ummah is still indulged in it inadvertently. Apart from the common folk, the scholars also heed no attention towards it and to avoid disrespect to the Holy Words they use it in their letters and documents. They adopt it as 'correct' and 'better' way to invite Allaah's blessings and have also started replacing the Holy Words by this number on their houses, offices, buildings, etc. Unfortunately, this tendency is gradually gaining momentum. But, do we see this number instead of the Holy Words in the Holy Qur'ân? Or, can we write it there as well? can we remove 'Bismillaah al-Rahmaan al-Raheem' from the top of Surah al-Fatihah and replace it with the number 786? Obviously not.

If we study the Qur'ân, we see it carries the holy words in a letter from Prophet Solomon (pbuh) to the Queen of Sheeba - Bilqis - who was an infidel at that time. Even Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in his letters to different heads of states and governments, used the holy words at the top. Therefore, whosoever uses 786 with the intention to obtain Allaah's blessings, is a misguided person and any attempt to justify it, is ignorance.
More astonishing is that fact that '786' is an aggregation of the numbers of Hindu 'Lord Hari Krishna'.
H(a)iri Kr(i)shnah-5, r-200, r-10, k-20, r-200, sh-300, n-50, a-1 = Aggregate of 786,
Thus, the aggregate number of these letters (Hari Krishna) equals 786. This is also the case of 'Bismillaah al-Rahmaan al-Raheem'. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid using this number to avoid the danger of being indulging in infidelity.
Islaam's foundation is laid on the belief in Tawheed (oneness of God). If we associate anyone with Allaah's exalted names orally or practically, we would be committing infidelity which is an unpardonable sin. The Qur'ân warns us, one who finds a rival against Allaah, Allaah will never allow him to enter paradise, and his abode is the hell. The letters by the Prophet (pbuh) to non-Muslim Kings and chiefs bear the holy words 'Bismillaah al-Rahmaan al-Raheem'. This was also the case of his noble companions. Did the Prophet (pbuh) and his companions respect the Holy Words less than we do? Was the verse, 'Today I completed your religion for you' (Surah Maidah 5:3), revealed to the Prophet (pbuh) or to the so called scholars of our age who are all bent to amend the Divine principles. Now, when it became known that '786' is written in place of Hindu, 'Lord Krishna', and has no significance in the Holy Qur'ân and Sunnah, it is obviously an innovation and goes against the Divine doctrine of 'Obey Allaah and His Prophet'. Beware, of newly-innovated matters, for every innovation is a going astray (Jahanam).
Similarly, some Muslims replace Allaah's name by the number '66' and the Prophet's name by '92'. But if one ask, the number '420' is used against somebody's name and he is called '420'. Can he bear such an insult?
Calling someone by a nick name is also a sin.
Allaah Ta'ala says, 'Don't call one another by nick names'. If Allaah prohibits the use of nicknames for fellow human beings, how can He allow the use of such insulting replacement number for Himself and His Prophet (pbuh).'Bismillaah al-Rahmaan al-Raheem' great significance in the Qur'ân and Muslims are ordered to begin any work but in the names Allaah, not in the number of '786' or any other substitution.

Allah tabarak wa ta'ala says:
"You shall certainly be tried and tested in your possessions
and in yourselves, and you shall certainly hear much that will grieve you from
those who received the Book before you and from those who worship partners
besides Allah. But if you persevere patiently, and guard against evil, then that
indeed is a matter of great resolution." [al-Imran:186] When we face trials we
need to remember to keep hoping for Allah's bounties in the hereafter. We need
to remind our loved ones what rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says that
"He whom Allah wishes good, shall be afflicted by Him," and that "No fatigue,
illness, distress, sorrow, injury or grief, afflicts a believer, but Allah
forgives for it [some] of his sins." [both agreed upon hadiths] One of the salaf
[alfudayl ibn iyadh] said "He who complains of misfortune afflicting him is as
if he complains of Allah." What could we ever lose if we instead humbly filled
our thoughts of Allah's blessings upon us? It has been said "Four treasures are:
concealment of misfortune, concealment of charity, concealment of poverty, and
concealment of pain." "The believer has four characteristics. If he is afflicted
by any misfortune, he remains patient and steadfast. If he is given anything, he
is grateful. If he speaks, he speaks the truth. If he passes a judgment on any
issue, he is just."

What every Muslim should know about Christmas

All praise be to Allah alone,
or making us Muslims and bestowing us the Deen of Islam to distinguish right and wrong.
The holiday season is upon us again, and the ugly head of Satan is rising again to inspire people to indulge in innovation and shirk.What proceeds is an analytical view of Christmas and appropriate Muslim conduct during the Christmas season.Any belief system or ritual (Christmas or otherwise) in any religion should satisfy each of the following criteria to be labeled as authentic:
1. It should have its evidence from the scriptures or from the authentic sayings of the Messenger.
2. The Messenger himself and his companions should practice and propagate it.
3. The Scripture or the Messenger's sayings in which this belief system is present should be preserved from alterations or perishment.
Does Christmas have Biblical Evidence?
Being the custodians of Truth and the 'Best Ummah created for mankind" and "witnesses unto Mankind", we Muslims just can't stay still as the society around us is entrapped by Satan. Enjoining good and forbidding evil should be our theme.
The foremost thing to realize is that Christmas is a big innovation which is leading a big part of humanity to shirk (associating partners with God). Christianity has transgressed the limits set by Allah; therefore showing happiness and joy on Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Good Friday is like shaking hands with Satan and telling him to carry on the good work.
Remember Allah commandment to us in the Quran:

"Help you one another in virtue and righteousness, but do not help one another
in sin and transgression. And fear Allah, verily Allah is severe in punishment".
(Quran, 5:2)

Therefore, a Muslim can't enjoin in any aspect of Christmas in the disguise that Jesus is our Prophet too, we are just honoring him by celebrating Christmas. We should recognize the bidah of Christmas and the Prophet's warning that all bidah should be rejected. Therefore, accepting Christmas invitations, attending Christmas parties, buying small plastic Christmas trees to please the kids (some Muslims actually do) should be avoided.
By greeting Christians with 'merry Christmas' we are legitimizing Christmas, by driving out on Christmas eve to witness the decoration of houses, we are appreciating bidah with our eyes, by placing our kids on the laps of Santa in the malls we are handing them in the hands of a fiend, by closing our Islamic Schools or shops during Christmas we are giving it our silent approval, by selling Christmas items in our shops, we are strengthening the pillars of Kufr.
By purchasing for children books with Christmas themes ('The Night before Christmas'), by watching Christmas movies and by giving holidays to our regular Islamic schools or weekend schools, we are passing them a misguided message.
Indeed Islam came to tear down the pillars of kufr and replace them with the pillars of Islam. Armed with facts on Christmas and eloquent words of Islam, the door of Dawah to the Christians should be wisely open.
When the Christians see us restraining from observing Christmas, they will curiously ask us for the reason. This opportunity should be used by each single Muslim to discuss Islam and invite non-Muslims to Islam.
It is highly recommended for all Muslims to carry brochures on Islam with them to pass on to non-Muslim classmates, co-workers, neighbors etc. after discussing Islam. Free brochures on various topics on Islam can be obtained by calling 1-718-658-1199 (for U.S. and Canadian residents).
Writing articles in campus and local newspapers on 'Jesus (pbuh) in Islam', conducting soup kitchens in impoverished neighborhoods, clothing drives in schools and college campuses for the needy etc. are some proper modes of conduct during the Christmas holiday season.
Thus the hearts and minds of non-Muslims should be exposed to the beautiful message of Islam.
The word 'Christmas' is not even present in the entire Bible. The Bible has closed lips on the entire feast of Christmas with one exception, the decoration of tree. Fortunately, for the Christians, the Bible does has a word or two to say on the decoration of the Christmas tree, but unfortunately for them, their own Bible criticizes the use of decorating tree:

"The customs of the people are worthless, they cut a tree out of the forest, and
a craftsman shapes it with his chisel, they adore it with silver and gold, they
fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter" (Jeremiah 10:3,4).

Pre-Christian pagans superstitiously believed that the evergreen tree has special power of protection. In fact, the use of Christmas tree began in the 17th century, in Strasbourg, France and from there it spread to Germany, Britain and then to the U.S. "Tree worship was a common feature of religion among the Teutonic and Scandinavian peoples of northern Europe before their conversion to Christianity…German settlers brought the Christmas tree custom to the American colonies in the 17th century. By the 19th century its use was quite widespread". (Compton's Encyclopedia, 1998 Edition)
Was Jesus Born on Dec. 25th?
Neither the date 25th Dec. nor any other date on Jesus' birth is mentioned in the Bible. Not until the year 530 C.E., that a monk, Dionysus Exigus, fixed the date of the birth of Jesus on Dec. 25th. "He wrongly dated the birth of Christ according to the Roman system (i.e., 754 years after the founding of Rome) as Dec. 25, 753". (Encyclopedia Britannica, 1998 ed.) This date was chosen perhaps in keeping with the holidays already indoctrinated into pagans.
Roman pagans celebrated Dec. 25th as the birth of their 'god' of light, Mithra. "In the 2nd century A..D., it (Mithraism) was more general in the Roman Empire than Christianity, to which it bore many similarities" (The Concise Columbia Encyclopedia, 1995 ed.)
"The reason why Christmas came to be celebrated on December 25 remains uncertain, but most probably the reason is that early Christians wished the date to coincide with the pagan Roman festival marking the "birthday of the unconquered sun" (natalis solis invicti); this festival celebrated the winter solstice, when the days again begin to lengthen and the sun begins to climb higher in the sky". (Encyclopedia Britannica, 1998 Ed.)
Other pagan 'gods' born on Dec. 25th are: Hercules, the son of Zeus (Greeks) Bacchus, god of wind, (Romans),Adenis god of Greeks Freyr the Greek-Roman god.
What about Santa Claus?
Once again the word 'Santa Claus' appears no where in the bible. However Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus) was a real person, bishop, who was born 300 years after Jesus (pbuh). According to legend he was extremely kind and went out at night to distribute presents to the needy. After his death on the 6th of Dec., school boys in Europe celebrated a feast day every year on the anniversary of his death. Queen Victoria later changed the celebration date from Dec. 6th to Dec. 24th eve.
Thus Christmas is an innovation (bidah) in their religion, associating it with Santa Claus, and changing the original date of death anniversary of Saint Nicholas are further deviations.
Did Jesus or his companions celebrated Christmas?
Of course not. If Jesus meant his 'Ummah' to celebrate Christmas, he would have practiced it himself and enjoined it on his followers. Even the 'supposed pseudo-companions' of Jesus (and not the companions of Jesus mentioned in the Quran who called themselves as Muslims) mentioned in the bible made many innovations in their religion, but celebrating Christmas was not their endeavor.
"In fact, the church did not observe a festival for the
celebration of the event until the 4th century" (Grolier's Encyclopedia).
Even if Christianity passed the above two test, they still have to prove that their Bible have remained unaltered since its revelation. A whole separate article could be written on this topic.
We'll mention three brief points, insha Allah. (1) Bible, unlike our Quran, was not written down during Jesus' lifetime and no evidence of it ever being memorized. (2) The oldest bible (Codex Siniticas) in possession of Christendom is only from the 4th century C.E. (3) verses are missing or added as to the Bible throughout the centuries. Compare different Bible versions (eg. compare the King James Version with Revised Standard Version. For verse: 1 John 5:7, this verse is missing in Revised Standard Version published in 1952).
How unfortunate and pitiful: parts of the original Bible has been lost. Part surviving has been corrupted and the corrupted parts has been misinterpreted.
How should Muslims React to Christmas?
Being the custodians of Truth and the 'Best Ummah created for mankind" and "witnesses unto Mankind", we Muslims just can't stay still as the society around us is entrapped by Satan. Enjoining good and forbidding evil should be our theme. The foremost thing to realize is that Christmas is a big innovation which is leading a big part of humanity to shirk (associating partners with God). Christianity has transgressed the limits set by Allah; therefore showing happiness and joy on Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Good Friday is like shaking hands with Satan and telling him to carry on the good work.Remember Allah commandment to us in the Quran:
"Help you one another in virtue and righteousness, but do not
help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allah, verily Allah is
severe in punishment".
Truth comes, falsehood disappears; Islam came, now shirk must clear.

Muslim Scientists: The X-Factor Behind today's tech

Discover the golden era of Islam

OVER the centuries, Muslim scholars and scientists had played a pivotal role in the development of numerous scientific discoveries.
To bring back these golden years and to spur young Malaysians into emulating these scholars, the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry is presenting the Scientific Excellence in Islamic Civilization exhibition, which will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre next month.
In the 7th century, the Arabs were already making inroads into various fields that were explored centuries earlier by the Europeans, notably the Greeks.
And by the middle of 9th century they had progressed further and begun to show their creativity in fields such as mathematics, astronomy, medicine, cartography, architecture and physics.
What they had learned from other cultures was perfected to the highest degree, creating new fields of learning and spinning new disciplines.
For example, Jabir Ibn Haiyan, who died in AD803, is known as the “Father of Chemistry”, as he liberated alchemy from superstition and turned it into a science.
Jabir, also known as Geber to the West, is credited with the invention of many types of now-basic chemical laboratory equipment and with the discovery and description of many now-commonplace chemical substances and processes.
These include hydrochloric and nitric acid, distillation, and crystallisation, which have all become the foundation of today’s chemistry as well as chemical engineering.
He also recognised the importance of systematic experimentation and wrote books on chemistry.
Several technical terms devised by Geber, such as alkali, are today found in various European languages and have become part of scientific vocabulary.
The Muslims also had one of the greatest mathematicians of all time in Abu Abdullah Mohammad Ibn Musa al-Khawarizmi.
Born in AD770, Khawarizmi was a mathematician, astronomer and geographer.
He made fundamental contributions to the basic concepts of mathematics, including explaining the use of the number zero.
The term “algebra” was derived from his famous book Al-Jabr wa-al-Muqabilah.
He also developed the decimal system and gave analytical solutions to quadratic equations as well as operations on fractions and trigonometric tables.
Khawarizmi’s numerous books were translated into European languages and he contributed original work related to clocks, sundials and astrolabes (an instrument to determine the altitude of objects).
These are only a sampling of the contributions by Muslim scholars to the development of science.
Their accomplishments will be showcased at the KL Convention Centre on Jan 8-14 and then move on to the National Science Centre where it will be displayed for two-and-a-half months.
The exhibition will showcase up to 150 artefacts and scientific discoveries by Muslims throughout the ages.

Paradox Of Our History

Paradox of Our History

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers;
wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints;
we spend more, but have less;
we buy more, but enjoy it less.

We have bigger houses and smaller families;
more conveniences, but less time;
we have more degrees,but less sense
more knowledge, but less judgment;
more experts, but more problems;
more medicine, but less wellness.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life;
we've added years to life, not life to years.

We've been all the way to the moon and back,but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor .
We've conquered outer space, but not inner space;
we've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul ;
we've split the atom, but not our prejudice.
We have higher incomes, but lower morals;
we've become long on quantity, but short on quality.These are times of tall men, and short character;
steeps profits, and shallow relationships.
These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare;
more leisure, but less fun;
more kinds of food, but less nutrition.

These are days of two incomes, but more divorce;
of fancier houses, but broken homes.
It is a time when there is much in the show window and nothing in the stockroom;

May Allah guide us to the Right Path!

The Power Of Dua

The Power of Dua
Dua is the most potent weapon of a believer. With it, we can never fail, without it, we can never succeed. Once Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) passed by a group of people who were suffering from some affliction. “Why don’t they make Dua (supplication) to Allah for protection,” he said. With all the suffering and disasters Muslims are facing in various parts of the world, the question can be directed to all of us today.

It is not that we have forgotten Dua completely, we refer to it regularly. But our ideas and practice regarding Dua have become distorted. Often it is reduced to the level of a ritual. Generally it is considered when all our efforts have failed—an act of last resort. It is belittled through actions and sometimes even with words. Is it any wonder that today mostly a mention of Dua is meant to indicate the hopelessness of a situation?
What a tragedy, for Dua is the most potent weapon of a believer. It can change fate, while no action of ours ever can. It is the essence of Ibaadah or worship. With it, we can never fail, without it, we can never succeed. In the proper scheme of things, Dua should be the first and the last resort of the believer, with all his plans and actions coming in between.
Dua is conversation with Allah, our Creator, our Lord and Master, the All Knowing, the All Powerful. This act in itself is of extraordinary significance. It is the most uplifting, liberating, empowering, and transforming conversation a person can ever have. We turn to Him because we know that He alone can lift our sufferings and solve our problems. We feel relieved after describing our difficulties to our Creator. We feel empowered after having communicated with the All Mighty.
In every difficulty, our first action is Dua, as is our last. We ask Allah to show us the way to handle that difficulty; we seek His help in following the path He shows to us, we seek His aid in making our efforts successful. When we fall sick, we know that we cannot find the right doctor without His Will, that the best doctor may not be able to diagnose our condition without His Command. The best treatment plan will not succeed without His permission. We make Dua for all of these. We make Dua before we seek medical help, while we are receiving it and after it has been delivered. The same is true of all other difficulties we may encounter.
Dua is the essence of Ibaadah. A person engaged in Dua affirms his belief in Tauheed (monotheism) and shuns belief in all false gods. A person seriously and sincerely engaged in Dua understands exactly the relationship between himself and the Creator and affirms it through his actions. That is the essence of worship!
Additionally, such a person can never become arrogant or proud, a logical result of true worship. Dua is our most potent weapon in all struggles of life as well as in jihad in the battlefield. During the battle of Badr, Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) stood up all night in prayer seeking Allah’s help in the battle between unequal armies that would follow the next day. In the decisive battles against the crusaders, Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi was busy day and night. His days were devoted to jihad. His nights were spent making Dua, crying, and seeking Allah’s help.
We should make Dua at all times, not only during times of distress. We should ask for all of our needs: those related to this world as well as those related to the Hereafter. We should make Dua not only for ourselves, but also for our parents, brothers and sisters, spouses and children, relatives and friends, teachers and other benefactors, destitute and struggling Muslims everywhere. We should pray for them for the good in this world as well as in the Hereafter. The Prophet (Pbuh) said: “The Dua of a Muslim for his brother (in Islam) in his absence is readily accepted. An angel is appointed to his side. Whenever he makes a beneficial Dua for his brother the appointed angel says, Aameen. And may you also be blessed with the same.’[Muslim, Hadith 4914]
In the dark ages that we are living in today, everyday
In the dark ages that we are living in today, everyday brings fresh news about atrocities committed against our brothers in Palestine, , , Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya, etc. And what do we do? We can continue to just feel frustrated and depressed. We can petition the determined perpetrators or a fictional “International Community.” We can just forget all of this and move on to some other subject. Or we can stand up before Allah and pray for His help, Who alone can help.
Dua can change our life, our outlook, and our fate. It is the most potent weapon. But it works only for those who try sincerely and seriously to use it.

"There are for Allah 100 mercies.
Of which only 1 was sent down among the Jinn, Mankind, Beasts, Birds and
insects. Through it, they incline towards each other. Through it, they show
mercy to one another and through it, they show affection to the younger ones.
And Allah has reserved for himself 99 mercies with which he will show mercy
to his servants on the day of ressurection"
- The Holy Prophet & Messenger of Allah (SAW)

Peace Of Mind...

Subject: Peace of Mind

Money is a consequence of effort to achieve your life goal. It is not a worthy cause to dedicate your life to. If you make the right effort, money will come as a result. And satisfaction is what makes you sleep well at night. Satisfaction is an inner thing. It is a state of being of the spirit. That is why Allah said: Ala bi dhikrillahi tat'maninnul quloob: Verily the peace of the Qalb (peace of mind) is in the Remembrance of Allah.

People who try to find satisfaction of the soul (peace of mind) in material possessions are like someone who tries to fill his belly by looking at pictures of Triple Sundaes. Try it and see if it works. Same logic for trying to find peace of mind or satisfaction by buying more possessions; jewellery, cars, houses, dogs or whatever. Futile and foolish.

There was a one hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the second richest man in the world, and who has donated $31 billion to charity.

And of course you will ask, "What about the Muslims on whom charity has been made compulsory?" Well, I don't know about all the Muslims of course, but in Hyderabad according to the Deccan Chronicle, they are very busy having ostentatious weddings. We had one just this week with allegedly 12,000 guests daily. The Hyderabad Chronicle reported it complete with pictures of the bride and her sisters and brothers. Amazing variety of food, it said. And of course in India food is never wasted as it is all eventually eaten by someone or the other.

What generosity!! Masha'Allah. Amazing how anyone can criticize this, eh!! Especially those who go and eat at these weddings. Talk about true namak haraami, eh!!

Now you will ask me if it is appropriate that just after the Sachar committee report was published which put the Muslims as second to none in terms of poverty, ignorance, sickness and crime, how can someone have a wedding of this nature? Well, I will tell you that poverty, ignorance, sickness and crime have many faces. So there is no contradiction with the report.

In all this, it may be interesting to remind yourself that Warren Buffet alone can buy and sell all the rich muslims of Hyderabad daily and will still not know the difference.

However the poor fool lives in a small 3 bedroom house in Omaha, does not fly in a private jet, does not drive a Mercedes, has no driver or security guards, drives his own car and when asked why he still lives in the same house for 50 years, says, "All I need is here. I don't need anything else."

And finally an interesting anecdote: When they asked Warren Buffet why he donated $31 billion to charity he said, "My wife told me, the shroud has no pockets."

Read on....................

Here are some very interesting aspects of Warren Buffet's life:

1) He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!

2) He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.

3) He still lives in the same small 3 bedroom house in mid-town Omaha that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.

4) He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.

5) He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company.

6) His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis.

7) He has given his CEO's only two rules. Rule number 1: Do not lose any of your share holder's money. Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.

8) He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch television.

9) Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half an hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.

10) Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.

11) His advice to young people: Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself.

Quran Best Seller in Indian Bookfair

Patna: Forget about fiction bestsellers or celebrity memoirs, the hottest selling book at the Patna book fair is the Quran with more than 500 copies being bought - mostly by non-Muslims.
The high demand among non-Muslim readers for the holy book of Islam has surprised salespersons at the fair, which started Dec 1 and ends Wednesday.
"I sold nearly 500 copies of Quran in the last one week. A large number of people have been inquiring for the book, but my stock is exhausted," said Mushtak Umri, sales manager of New Delhi-based Goodword Book.
Umri said he had never come across such a tremendous response to buy the Quran. He sold around 250 copies of the Hindi translation of the Quran and over 100 copies of the English version.
"Over 75 percent buyers were non-Muslims," Umri added. He sold less than 25 copies of the Arabic and Urdu translation of the Quran.
According to Umri, he had sold nearly 250 copies of the English translation of the Quran at a book fair in Mizoram last year. "That was also a record as Mizoram has a large Christian population," he said.
A salesperson of Maktabe-e-Imarat Sharia said many Hindus purchased the Hindi translation of the holy book. "They told me that they want to read and know Islam from its original text and sources."
Manish Sinha, who was one of those who bought a copy of the Quran, agreed, "We wanted to know more about Islam."
"We came to know about the demand of books on Islam among non-Muslims, it is a good sign," said Ratneshwar, the fair's main organiser.

Secret of Success

"Sir, What is the secret of your success?" a reporter asked a bank president

"Two words."

"And, Sir, what are they?"

"Right decisions."

"And how do you make right decisions?"

"One word.''

"And, sir, What is that?"

"Experience. "

"And how do you get Experience?"

"Two words"

"And, Sir, what are they?"

"Wrong decisions."

As Muslims sisters strive to gain knowledge about their religion and endeavor to increase their Iman, there is one issue of importance that often seems to be neglected. This is the issue of Sisterhood in Islam. Sisters may greet each other, spend time socializing, give gifts during happy occasions, cook for those who have a new baby, etc., but this is only the surface level of Sisterhood. To understand what this special relationship really means we must go much deeper than that. We need to go to the level of the heart from which the bonds of Sisterhood emanate. This relationship is very special because it involves a unique type of love; one that cannot be experienced in any other social connection. It is a feeling that is particularly extraordinary for those of us who are revert/converts to Islam. To really enjoy the beauty of this bond we need to completely comprehend the elements that are involved. A letter has been written to each of us to assist us in this endeavor, Insha-Allah.Let us put this knowledge in our hearts and we will begin to see the seeds of true Sisterhood grow into a beautiful, flowering plant, Insha-Allah. Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Baraktuh My Dear Sister in Islam: Insha-Allah, everything is well with you and those close to you. I am writing this letter to let you know how much I care and to help us both gain an understanding of what Sisterhood in Islam really means, Insha-Allah. I care about you because we share something that is more special than the whold world and all that it contains; we share the belief in the Onenesss of Allah (SWT) and the religion that He (SWT) has given to us. This is a gift that transcends any differences we may have in regard to race, color, nationality, culture or language. Being a sister in Islam is one of the many blessings that comes from acceptance of the true path of Allah (SWT). It is also a responsibility that we each have as members of the Muslim Ummah. To fufill our obligation, we first need to understand what is required of us.
This is what the bond of Sisterhood in Islam means to me, based upon the wisdom of Allah and his Prophet Muhammad (SAW), "...And lower your wing for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers) ." (Al-Hijr 15:88)
The Prophet (SAW) said, "None of you has Iman (faith) until he desires for his brother (or sister) Muslim that which he desires for himself (or herself)." (Bukhari and Muslim)
He (SAW) also said, "The Muslims in their mutual love, kindness and compassion are like the human body where when one of its parts is in agony the entire body feels the pain, both in sleeplessness and fever." (Bukhari and Muslim)
I love you for the sake of Allah (SWT) ... The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "On the Day of Judgement, Allah, the Most High, will announce, 'Where are those who love each other for the sake of My pleasure? This day I am going to shelter them in the shade provided by Me. Today there is no shade except My shade." (Muslim)
I will be sure to tell you of my love, Insha-Allah ...
The Prophet (SAW) said, "If a person loves his brother, he should inform him of this fact." (Abu Dawud and Tirmidi)
I will be merciful and compassionate toward you, Insha-Allah ... Allah (SWT) says, "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are severe against the disbelievers, and merciful among themselves.. ." (Al-Fath 48:29)
The Prophet (SAW) said, "Do not be envious of other Muslims; do not overbid at auctions against another Muslim; do not have malice against a Muslim; do not go against a Muslim and forsake him; do not make an offering during a pending transaction. O' servants of Allah, be like brothers (or sisters) with each other. A Muslim is the brother (or sister) of another Muslim; do not hurt him (or her), or look down upon him (or her) or bring shame on him (or her). Piety is a matter of heart (The Prophet (SAW) repeated this thrice). It is enough evil for a person to look down upon his Muslim brother (or sister). The blood, property and honor of a Muslim is inviolable to a Musilm." (Muslim)
I will keep company with you, Insha-Allah ...
The Prophet (SAW) said, "Keep company with a believer only, and let your food be eaten only by the righteous." (Abu Dawud and Tirmidi)
He (SAW) also said, "A person is likely to follow the faith of his friend, so look whom you befriend." (Abu Dawud and Tirmidi)
I will help you when necessary and I will cover your shortcomings, Insha-Allah ...
The Prophet (SAW) said, "One who helps a fellow Muslim in removing his (or her) difficulty in this world, Allah will remove the former's distress on the Day of Judgement. He who helps to remove the hardship of another, will have his difficulties removed by Allah in this world and in the Hereafter. One who covers the shortcomings of another Muslim, will have his faults covered up in this world and the next by Allah. Allah continues to help a servant so long as he goes on helping his own brother (or sister)." (Muslim)
I will encourage you to the right, Insha-Allah ...
Allah (SWT) says, "The believers, men and women. are Auliya (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on people) Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do), and forbids (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islam has forbidden); they offer their prayers perfectly (Iqamat-as-Salat) ; and give the Zakat and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will have His mercy upon them. Surely, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise." (At-Tauba 9:71)
When the Prophet (SAW) instructed, "Support your brother (or sister) if he is doing wrong or if he is being wronged, someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah, I can help him if he is being wronged, but how can I help him if he is himself doing wrong?" At that the Prophet (SAW) answered, "Stopping him from committing the wrong is helping him." (Bukhari)
I will fulfill my minimum duties and beyond, Insha-Allah ...
The Prophet (SAW) said, "A Muslim owes six obligations towards another Muslim: when you meet him (or her), salute him (or her) saying 'Assalamu Alaikum; when he (or she) invites you, accept his (or her) invitation; when he (or she) solicits your advice, advise him (or her) sincerely; when he (or she) sneezes and praises Allah, respond with the supplication Yarhamuk Allah (Allah have mercy on you); when he (or she) falls sick, visit him (or her); on his (or her) death, join his (or her funeral)." (Muslim)
He (SAW) also said, "When a Muslim visits his (or her) Muslim brother (or sister) who is sick, he (or she) certainly gathers the fruits of Paradise until he (or she) returns (from visiting)." (Muslim)
You should understand, dear sister, that these are only some of the promises that I have made to you and to Allah (SWT), Insha-Allah. I will strive to fufill each of them to the best of my ability, Insha-Allah. Insha-Allah you will do the same for all of your sisters in Islam. This will not only enhance our bounds of Sisterhood, but will also strengthen the fibers of the Muslim Ummah as we acquire and utilize the wisdom of Islam, Insha-Allah. Our ultimate goal is to gain the pleasure of Allah (SWT), as well as His Mercy and Blessings, Insha-Allah. May we both find the true peace that comes with being a Muslim and attaing the highest of rewards: Paradise. Ameen!!!

Obey Allah...

The Person who obeys ALLAH has all his work done through unseen ways without him even knowing about it. Without doubt, the person who becomes ALLAH'S, ALLAH becomes his.

Religion of the Capitalists

Religion of the Capitalists
America is trying to introduce a new religion with their strong and international media. A religion where Satan gives revelation to the owners of large companies and rich people of the hegemonic system that is running the world. The source of revelation is Satan and those that receive the revelation and propagate the religion are the American and Israeli spy research centers and think tanks. These colonization organizations perform two actions; they present a unified religion and they explain the teachings of correct religions in accordance with their goals and interests: increasing their domain. The American Zionists have named Islam, holy war, and defending one’s land, women, children, religion, and honor as terrorism and consider them as evil actions. The Jewish Christians take on religion is that they consider enjoining the good and forbidding the evil as well as advising one another as an unjust interference into one’s personal business. The American British take on religion is that they consider chastity and the holding back of pious and believing men and women from corruption and unethical conduct as a type of depression, a type of mental disorder, and a type of backwardness. The concepts of independence in culture, politics, and economics does not have a meaning in the new religion of those who worship the world, rather independence, power-mongering, people after proofs, and people after building are praised. In the new religion, the whole world must act in accordance to the culture, economy, and politics of the headquarters of disbelief; New York and Tel Aviv. If they don’t they will be charged with apostasy and then… Hence, everyone must live in the cage built by America. Modern logic considers the term independence as old and belonging to the Middle Ages. In the new religion, in shadows of making an international economy, 80 percent of the worlds wealth and resources must be in the hands of less than 20 percent of the worlds population; in other words the Zionists. In the shadows of the international Zionism, God is no longer the one worshiped on earth, the direction of prayer is no longer Mecca, rather the American dollar, large companies, international media, and large internet cites have been transformed into idols, gods, and the direction of prayer. In the new definition of religion that America is presenting to the Muslims, the teachings of jihad, martyrdom, enjoining the good, forbidding the evil, spiritual and ethical traits, and forming an Islamic government must be erased from the Quran. The verses that discuss the evilness, the dividing tactics, and the instigating nature of the Jews and the deception of the Christians over the Muslims must be erased from the Quran. In its place, understanding, dialogue, de-escalation, unity with the modern world’s caravan, unified thought, and a peaceful life in accordance to their understanding will be taught. One of the first laws that they will pass is laxity and negligince with the aggressive disbelievers and polytheists. One of the important political strategies of the new religion, according to the statements of the Jews and Christians, will be that they have the right to any kind of military move or economic embargo against the Muslims or the downtrodden. This will be legal, advanced, and humane. Therefore, in farthest parts of the world they are gathering different types of weapons of mass destruction and are building prisons, army barracks, bunkers, forts, castles and torture dungeons. But, Muslims do not have any right to fight against their invasion of Muslim land and if they do defend their religion, women, children, or land they are introduced as violent, terrorists, and backward. One of their acts of worship will be giving democracy to backward nations. There is no problem in giving them democracy even though millions of humans in Iraq, Sudan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Bosnia, Palestine, Panama, and Vietnam are killed and are tortured by modern American tactics in Abu Gharayb and Guntanamo until they accept western culture, civilization, progress, and modernity. Examples of laws of the new religion are making, hording, and using nuclear, microbe, and chemical weapons by England, America, and Israel. Also, that there is no problem for them verbally and physically threaten the world because they are spreading liberal democracy and western human rights. But, Muslim countries gaining knowledge and modern technologies are a serious danger to the world’s peace and are definitely forbidden and unforgivable. Another rule of the new religion is that all of mankind must use the cultural and propagation goods of Hollywood. The whole world must spend their lives in the dirty, unethical internet sites and satellite channels and at the same time they must thank their lords; they must look at them respectfully. Another aspect of this religion is America’s selling humans, their new form of slavery, buying drugs and weapons of mass destruction, buying and selling young women in farthest parts of the world and sending them to the centers of corruption to be used sexually, selling body parts of innocent children, women, and girls who have fallen into slavery. High class jobs will be those that strengthen the hegemonic systems economy. Their deceptive marketplace will be made successful. The Protection of the superiority of their marketplace is obligatory. According to the rules of the world’s new unified and evil religion, homosexuality, devil worship, nudity, abominable pleasures, the production of dangerous chemical drugs, organizing evil and teaching it, establishing centers and universities to teach torture, the production and sale of different kinds of tools used for torture, and teaching different types of crime are the necessities of a advanced modern civilization. The whole world must take the civilizations that have all of this as role models so that they are not left behind the fast-moving train of modernity. The teachings of this new, progressive religion of America which is taught to use, which state that the American army and its allies, with its tanks, missiles, airplanes, warships, weapons of mass destruction is occupying your countries, stealing your natural resources, taking control of your mines, killing your youth, raping your women, and building prisons and torture chambers. They say that this is to our benefit but we do not see it. They say that we must greet this warmly and pray that the American army comes and gives us democracy, human rights, and ethics. These are small examples of the rules of this religion; the religion of the modern world. To what level do you think that free people of the world, belonging to any religion or ideology, be they Christian or any other religion, will accept this and conform to its rules? How long will the people of this world endure oppression, crime, stress, invasion, and the rest of the rules of the hegemonic system? Who must put an end to this horrific state? Who must cut the hands of evil and save the oppressed of the world from the usurpers? The Abrahamic faiths are awaiting a savior. Muslims and Christians are awaiting Mahdi or Jesus, backed with divine might and the readiness of the world, to return and destroy the oppressive, corrupt empires from their roots. It is obligatory and necessary for all believers of all religions by their self-building, opposition to oppression, unity, supplication, repentance, disgust of the oppression present state of affairs, humanity, and spirituality to build the groundwork for the promised savior to come appear so that the world and mankind will live in a society filled with justice and spirituality.

All praises and thanks be to Allah, Lord of everything that exists.The most Gracious, the Most Merciful.Master of the Day of Judgment You (alone) we worship, and You (alone) we ask for help.Guide us to the Straight Way The Way of of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor those who went astray.

Former US Model Overwhelmed by Muslim Pilgrimage
Former US fashion model Constance Mcdonald sat at a camp in Mount Arafat in Saudi Arabia listening to a Muslim preacher explaining the rituals of the hajj pilgrimage. Clad in traditional white clothes from head to toe with only her face and hands showing, she sat listening attentively to the sermon delivered in English and Arabic with an English copy of the Quran in hand. But for the Muslim convert, it is a far cry from when she used to parade on the catwalks and pose at photo shoots. Understandably, she seemed overwhelmed by the experience of being among 2.1 million other Muslims performing the pilgrimage to Makkah.
"I just can't explain how I feel, there are mixed feelings," Mcdonald said at a complex housing 1,200 American pilgrims when asked about the hajj. "There have been several spiritually moving moments, but also it has been somewhat confusing and frustrating.”I am finding the language and cultural differences difficult to deal with," she said, adding that this was her first trip overseas. "It is like a dream, once we're back home, I wouldn't know if it actually happened or not."
Mcdonald, a 38-year-old said she converted to Islam in 1990. "At first the conversion was just out of convenience," said her husband, a medical staffer at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan, who was born into a Muslim family. "But a couple of years later she realized that this was what she was looking for and she started practicing (Islam).”There was no pressure from Carl," she said. "I had been searching for the truth for 10 years, and after I read the Quran and looked at it closely I knew that this is the truth.” Mcdonald said her faith was further strengthened when her three little girls started going to a Muslim school and she met many other women who had converted to Islam and were married to Muslim husbands.
She said she started covering her hair in accordance to Muslim teachings two years ago.
